History or background of award

This scholarship is co-funded with Victoria University of Wellington to support Tuwharetoa Maori Trust Board's Nga Ara Matua Strategy 2016-2020 and Ngati Tuwharetoa participation and success at Victoria University of Wellington.

Purpose of award

This scholarship is to support a Ngati Tuwharetoa postgraduate student at Victoria University of Wellington studying in any of the six categories (Environmental, Te Reo Maori me ona Tikanga, Education, Health & Wellbeing, Technology & Innovation, Commerce and Business & Law) which support the Pou of the strategy.
